Highlights
I got a chance to learn today about an “All-Star retirement story” from Bob Fregolle, Jr. ⚾️ , his wife, Lori, and Keith Lawrence. A very inspiring story and catalyst to reflect on the ‘enough’ questions. Thanks to Bill McCarthy, CFP® and the UBS team for organizing.
And, of course, a great opportunity for a selfie in full Tortugas gear. Good luck with the construction program and looking forward to being there soon.
I sat down with the Wall Street Journal to discuss the industry-wide transition to QR Codes with GS1 standards after 50 years of the traditional barcode. QR codes can allow us to do so much more, bridging the gap between in-store and digital, and as I mention in the article, the best use cases are ones we haven’t even begun to think about.
It will be a journey, but this transition is an innovative and forward-looking response to today’s business and consumer needs.
