I was recently invited to speak about AnythingButOrdinary on stage at the Food and Beverage Finance 2024 conference and had the honour of being interviewed by the fantastic Matt Cooper.

A huge thank you to University College Cork, AIB, Goodbody, A&L Goodbody LLP and KPMG for producing an event that highlights the forward-thinking, progressive, and innovative products and technologies in the food space coming out of Ireland.

It was great to have the opportunity to share a sneak peek of the innovative food product we’ve been developing to disrupt the supplement space. After two years of rigorous R&D, our launch is now just around the corner.

As we gear up for this exciting phase and redefine what everyday health looks like, we’re looking to connect with corporates, commercial partners, and investors who share our vision and excitement for the future of health and nutrition.

Stay tuned for more updates. If you’re interested in learning more or discussing potential opportunities, feel free to reach out.

Let’s redefine everyday health together 🚀

Linkedin (and all social media) is where people share their successes, their accomplishments, their best qualities…

Anyone who knows me well, professionally or personally, will know I’m a #perfectionist. While the statistics are unclear, it looks as though I share this trait with 30% of the population, so I know I’m not alone in recognising it’s a blessing and a curse. Holding yourself to impossibly high standards, you can imagine how that goes.

I’ve always felt like I’ve embodied two people. A version of myself kept for professional settings, and one for friends and family. And never the two shall meet.

Until this week, I believed that for anyone to trust me with their time, money, or business, I had to be a certain version of myself. Serious. Has it all together. Polished.

The trouble is #startups are inherently dirty. Things change, you’re constantly learning, you spend a lot of time in the unknown and you have to be comfortable with that. But being comfortable in it, and being comfortable sharing it, are two entirely different things.

So I never posted anything on Linkedin. And if I did I probably deleted it later.

But today, I’ve decided to throw out the rule book I’ve been reading myself my entire adult life.

This is what it’s like 99% of the time. It’s not polished, but it is real so I might as well share the grubby journey.

And I promise not to delete this later.

(but I might)

Ali 👋

ps. this is #behindthescenes from our NDRC pre accelerator showcase pitch hosted by Republic of Work. A brilliant programme I'd be happy to chat to anyone considering applying. A special thank you to Eshna Gogia Maeve Lyons Niall Larkin Viktoria Hensler Rosemary Gallagher for their guidance and brutal honesty 🙏

pps. I know I've misspelled 'peace'. I never in a million years would have posted something knowing there was a clear mistake in it—but today is a new day ☀️.
