Ali Olson-Pacheco is a dedicated professional with a passion for setting online teachers and learners up for success.

Ali's expertise includes equity-minded approaches, backwards design, and humanized online learning, particularly within the California Community Colleges system.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from Alliant International University-San Diego Campus.

Ali has served in various roles in different organizations, including as an Instructional Technologist/Designer at Ventura College.

Previously, she held positions such as Director of Client Training & Product Success/ESL Assessment Development Manager at KITE—Kaplan International Tools for English.

Ali also has experience as Adjunct Faculty in the ESL Departments of Santa Barbara City College and Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District.

She has been a Teacher Mentor & ESL Instructor at University of California, San Diego Extension International Programs.

Furthermore, Ali has served as Academic Director - International Education at EF Education First, and as an ESL Instructor in Adult Education at Santa Barbara City College.

Her diverse professional background includes a role as a Freelance Writer & Editor in Arts & Entertainment at Santa Barbara Independent.
