I tell them
I've won multiple awards for my ability to develop and grown online communities by working with on-staff and freelance writers, analysts and other experts, plus c-level execs and professional contributors to share the trends and news shaping an industry. Nothing, however, is as rewarding as leading and being part of a team that crafts content others rely on, whether it's for an internal group or a client who delights in seeing their KPIs and audience goals attained.
Although I've been in tech most of my career, my interests -- and professional goals -- encompass a much broader array of subjects including retail, healthcare, animals, publishing (books), baseball, children and more. Colleagues and managers have praised my analytical and research capabilities, a sometimes uncanny capability to discern trends between seemingly disparate data points, and my skill at translating tech- and marketing-speak into plain English.
Other strengths include: Ability to interview anyone from a 10-year-old child to the CEO of a multi-billion-dollar corporation to a brick wall; empathy and honesty; organized; dedicated; motivated; enjoy being part of an inclusive team; caring mentor, well-versed in tools including Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Microsoft Paint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, Skype and WordPress on Mac and Windows PCs. Weaknesses: Lousy at office politics, can't throw a ball to save my life to my husband and daughter's embarrassment, and making up songs for our cats. (There are two kitties, many off-key ditties. Yes, the lyrics are that bad.)
While I seek the perfect full- or part-time position, I am working on passion project, non-profit Win Like a Girl; taking several online courses to advance and fine-tune my skills, and unpacking after our move to North Carolina from Florida.

Since there's only so much I can do to support the people of Ukraine right now, I've increased my Kiva loans to people in neighboring countries--especially Moldova, which faces a very dangerous present and future.
Please, if you can, could you help Eleanora realize her goal of buying nuts so she can grow her family business and improve their standard of living in rural Moldova? She's already raised about $4,400--an unimaginable sum--and has about $860 to go, but only two days in which to raise this amount. Eleonora's loan is over halfway there on Kiva – only $860 to go!
Thank you! #Help #Moldova #Entrepreneur #Kiva #PeopleHelpingPeople
I always enjoyed reading (and often reporting on) the Cisco #Cybersecurity report. This year's " Cisco 2023 Cybersecurity Readiness Index" is no exception (even though I'm no longer in the B2B editorial business)! The report is based on surveys from 6,700 respondents in 27 countries representing more than 18 industries, who shared how they measured up in solutions across the five core pillars of cybersecurity protection: identity, devices, network, application workloads, and data.
