It was a joy catching up with Chip Conley Wednesday at Book Passage In Corte Madera and hearing him read from his latest book, Learning to Love Midlife. Bay Area folks: He’s at Book Passage in the Ferry Building tomorrow (Sat) from 3-5 if you still want to catch him! You’ll leave with an open mind and happy heart.
I’ve learned so much from Chip over the years, growing up (not old) alongside his journey. Especially appreciating that I’ve gone from colored-over chestnut-brown hair to “silver fox” during this trajectory. I am indeed learning to love my own Midlife – in large part because of Chip’s example and the MEA experience.
If you haven’t yet checked out Chip’s Modern Elder Academy (the world’s first “midlife wisdom school”), do - and then GO. The Baja experience is extraordinary, and they’re opening a campus in magical Santa Fe in the spring. 🌊 ✨ 🌵 [also pictured: Matt Clark 😎 ]
Colleagues! I’m posting this open call for professional freelance writers, in case you know someone who may be interested (and/or if that’s you).
We specialize in thought-leader presentations for founders, executives, and entrepreneurs. We help speakers craft and communicate their big ideas, delivering TED talks, conference keynotes, and business pitches that move audiences from awareness to action. Since 2008, our work has helped clients garner millions of views on TED, scale their businesses, and grow a following by attracting their “right people.”
As work expands, we’re looking for professional writers and editors to add to our creative studio on a contract + project basis. Professional journalists, speechwriters, and TED-style stage-talk pros will be especially suited for this work. Experience decoding complex topics (e.g. cutting-edge technology, social or business systems, or cultural trends) for a general audience is a plus.
Lots more detail about us + the job in the post. We’re getting lots of interest, but I’d also love some personal referrals. Feel free to forward and/or boost. Thanks in advance!
