Alissa Burger is a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience in climate and energy policy at various governmental levels, with a focus on market mechanisms, building performance policy, regulatory barriers, clean energy investment, urban innovations, and climate resiliency strategies.

Alissa holds a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology/American Studies from Knox College. She has also studied cultural development in South Africa and Nepal at the School for International Training.

Throughout her career, Alissa has held key positions at notable organizations such as Electrification Coalition, Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, Center for Sustainable Energy, Institute for Market Transformation, Clean Energy Leadership Institute, German Marshall Fund of the United States, PennFuture, Sustainable Pittsburgh, and Grow Pittsburgh.

Passionate about playing a pivotal role in the United States' shift towards a low-carbon energy future, Alissa brings a wealth of knowledge in climate and energy policy, coupled with hands-on experience working on diverse clean energy technologies.
