Last month, I hung out with Dan Martell, author of Buy Back Your Time.

Dan inspired me on so many levels, but specifically:

Body - I've been doing well there over the last few years, but now it's time to go from good to great.

Time - Dan is a master of time. It's our most valuable resource, and Dan is maniacally focused on squeezing the most out of every minute.

Content - You can see the quality of Dan's content from the video below. He has doubled down and invested in high-quality content, and it has massively increased his reach and reputation.

We hung out for two days in Kelowna, but here it is in 18mins:

I’ve spent several hours today doing something excruciating….

I've been watching “game tape”....of myself….speaking.

I’m the keynote speaker at conferences and events several times a year and I appear as a guest on podcasts multiple times a week.

I overwhelmingly get very positive feedback, which is nice, but I want to make a bigger impact. To do that, I want to become a world-class, top 0.1% speaker.

My friend and high-performance coach Todd Herman recommends watching and carefully reviewing “game tape.”

Just like professional athletes and their coaches review their plays by watching and rewatching their on-field performance, Todd recommends doing the same with your performance in the business arena.

Whether that be speaking, coaching, or anything else that requires you to perform at a high level, watching game tape of yourself gives you valuable insights and reveals weaknesses that wouldn't otherwise be obvious.

My speaking coach sent me 8-pages of timestamped notes on my last 90-minute keynote, highlighting the good, the bad, and the ugly, so I spent much of today going through it minute-by-minute. 😭
