Oh no, I think it’s going to be a long post. While I won’t arrive home from WITness Success until tomorrow, I can’t wait that long to share with you some of my favorite moments from this year’s conference. It was my first year as a part of the core team, and I’m so excited to stay along for the ride.

  1. It was my extreme honor to present my good friend Hayley Tuller and the team at Navigators with the first ever Ally of the Year award from WS. They are building a company devoted to ensuring equity at every turn, and Hayley shared how they’re actively doing it. She also is the most genuinely enthusiastic person I know and I can’t believe this is the one photo where her mouth isn’t open in a scream of excitement.

  2. I got to hang out with and meet Sarah and Pamela from Thanawalla Digital, and if you haven’t met Sarah yet, you need to. She is a quickly rising star in our ecosystem, and the TD team is doing seriously cool things with their Standup Weekend for nonprofits.

  3. Since we were in Louisville this year, the theme of the WiT Gala was the Kentucky Derby, and it was a BLAST. It was so fun to dress up together and Margaret and Stacey really put their hearts into showing folks a little bit of Kentucky and it was beautiful.

  4. I had so many people come tell me how impactful my sessions were. Yeah, I love giving talks about flows and permission set management, but getting to open up about my Autism in the workplace is a whole different level of connection with the ecosystem. And I got to be on a panel on the topic with two incredible CGLs: Katie Villanueva, my friend who always shines in every room with how open and authentic she is, and is willing to share her vulnerabilities with us so we can learn, and Jade Keenan, who I already adore, and cares about her loved ones so fiercely it brought me to tears. Getting to talk mental illness, health, neurodivergence, and disability with you two was a gift.

  5. We all were adopted this weekend by the incredible Brenda Kendall, who was our conference photographer, but also our cheerleader, our support system, and our adopted mom. We love you, Brenda, and we’re keeping you with us in the Ohana from now on!

  6. I got to sing with my friends! Amanda Rhymers hosted an awesome karaoke party last night so that we could say goodbye in style, and it was an absolute blast!

  7. We successfully finished out our first WITness Success as a new core team, and it was such an incredible time. Throughout the last year of planning, this group of women have brought the fun, the ideas, the hard work, and they supported me through some difficult times at work this year. You’re all incredible, Stacey Whitaker, Margaret Adkins, Jackie Medina, MHA, Bhavana Singh, Meghana Singh, Melinda Smith, Christina Moore, and Brittany Hart 💜

WITness Success is not a conference that is super technical or on the forefront of Salesforce updates. But it is the conference that develops the very best people 💜🫶🏼 See ya’ll next year!
