Chief, Airport Emergency Service

Alvin Lee is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the emergency services field, transitioning from a Senior Police Officer in the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to currently serving as the Chief of Changi Airport Emergency Service (AES).

Throughout his career, Alvin has held various strategic, operational, and tactical command roles within the SPF, operating at different levels including precinct, divisional HQ, Force HQ, and Ministry HQ, both in command and staff positions.

Alvin's passion lies in people development and organizational transformation, focusing on rejuvenating and enhancing emergency services for the betterment of the community.

In terms of education, Alvin holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Management, Policing & Emergency Services with Distinction from the Australian Institute of Police Management. He also studied Law, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton.

Alvin further honed his expertise by completing the Civil Aviation Management Programme at the Singapore Aviation Academy and an Executive MBA in Leading Business Transformation with Honors from Aalto University Executive Education Ltd.

His academic journey began at Catholic Junior College for his GCE 'A' Levels and Assumption English School for his GCE 'O' Levels, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and development.

Within various organizations, Alvin has held pivotal roles, such as Vice President and former Assistant Vice President of Airport Emergency Service at Changi Airport Group, along with past positions at the Singapore Police Force and the Ministry of Home Affairs, contributing significantly to the field of emergency services.
