Highlights
It feels great to be home, back to the #littlereddot, over the last 2.5 weeks. And happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate! 🐉 🧧🧨
Each year, the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) brings the International Operations team back for an intensive work plan session, to equip us with the latest on our strategic priorities before we head back to our respective markets.
One of my key takeaways from this trip is that we will double down our efforts to pursue advanced manufacturing opportunities. Despite being a small island state, we have an existing base of diverse manufacturing sectors in #Singapore, ranging from energy and chemicals, aerospace, semiconductors, precision engineering and healthcare etc. Manufacturing accounts for ~20% of our GDP and we want to continue growing that.
We're eager to collaborate with companies keen on building factories of the future. True to the #edb ethos, we strive our best to pursue win-win-win by dreaming big and starting small. If you're curious about how Singapore and Southeast Asia can bolster your manufacturing and supply chain strategies, we'd love to chat.
