Amanda Hajjar is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of extensive experience in the art world. She served as the Founding Artistic Director for Fotografiska New York, leading the museum's launch and overseeing artistic and exhibition strategies between 2018 and 2024. Amanda forged partnerships with world-renowned artists, guiding them from conceptualization to the realization of their exhibitions. Prior to her role at Fotografiska, she excelled as an Artist Liaison at the prestigious Gagosian Gallery, curating more than 50 exhibitions with artists and their estates. Amanda's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Arts in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from The Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
