Highlights
Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with, learning from, and working alongside inspiring nonprofit changemakers. I'd be remiss not to thank and celebrate these leaders especially on #NationalNonprofitDay (even if a few days late)!
At the Social Innovation Summit earlier this summer, I had the privilege of engaging in conversation, breaking bread, and sharing the stage with several brilliant women leaders (including my wonderful colleague Michele L.). I'd love to highlight a few whose vision and impact inspired me:
✨ Valerie Lefler, founder and CEO of Feonix - Mobility Rising; ✨ Dr. EV Shelley, founder and executive director of EVHybridNoire; ✨ Chelsea Clinton, vice chair at Clinton Foundation; and ✨ Katya Echazarreta, NASA Astronaut, STEM advocate, and founder of Fundación Espacial.
Next month, I’ll be attending Clinton Global Initiative during UNGA & Climate Week in NYC to continue the dialogue with other incredible nonprofit, cross-sector and global leaders around creating safer, more equitable and sustainable mobility options. 👉 We’re co-hosting a breakfast discussion on how new transportation solutions can increase access to economic opportunity with Jobs for the Future (JFF) – please reach out if you’re interested in joining the conversation! 👉 And if you're looking to be inspired by nonprofit changemakers, subscribe to my #DrivingCommunitiesForward newsletter.
