Highlights
I am proud to announce that PRNEWS has named me to the 2024 Class of Top Women in PR in the Change-Makers category.
I've taken on many fearless (read: unconventional) roles in my communications career — and when asked why I say yes to these new ventures and teams, it comes down to the fact that I have a special spot in my heart for rebels. Not rebellious for the sake of rebellion, but for those who are forever examining the set point in their industries and asking, "How can we change the status quo and move it forward?"
Holding to a bold, different, and brave standard within the status quo is not for the weak. You’re often misunderstood and go years without recognition. You’re too focused on getting real results to stop and take a breather to tell the world. But for the resilient founders and companies I wake up every day to support: they deserve to have their stories told. These teams are changing how companies track illicit activity in supply chains (Sayari!), they're publishing groundbreaking reports on how agencies must use AI (Duda!), they're entering new markets with record-breaking soccer stadium sponsorships (Inter&Co!).
But they also require a kind of PR that matches their guts, in lockstep. Thank you to Ricardo Cesar, Tomasz Karasek, and Paula Nadal for our shared beliefs and support. And Ingrid Huang, teammate in crime — you’re on this list next.
