Amanda Stevens is a dedicated librarian and information management professional with a background in communication and administration.

With a BA in English from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Library and Information Studies from Dalhousie University, Amanda combines her love for organizing with interests in community development, arts, and education.

She specializes in non-traditional information management tasks such as project management, software evaluation and implementation, customized vocabulary development, research, and collections management.

Amanda's diverse experience has honed her skills in planning, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking, making her highly adaptable.

Her expertise includes search strategies, information sources, systems design, metadata management, and information organization methods.

Currently working at the Public Knowledge Project, Amanda is open to part-time consulting opportunities and is passionate about open source software, research, accessibility of unique content, and improving information access for marginalized communities.

Amanda enjoys traveling and is available for work-related travel.
