Amanpreet Bains is a dedicated researcher currently investigating the role of Mesenchymal cell derived Extracellular matrix in Myelodysplastic syndromes. He holds a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology, microbiology, and chemistry from Osmania University, a Master of Science (MS) in Molecular Medicine from The University of Sheffield, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Hematology from Leipzig University. Additionally, Amanpreet has completed a Certificate course in Clinical genetics and genetic counseling from the Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic diseases.

With a strong academic foundation, Amanpreet has been actively involved in various research and academic roles. He has served as a Researcher and PHD Student at Universitätsklinikum Leipzig, gaining valuable experience in the field of Hematology. Prior to that, he worked as a Project Fellow at L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) and as a Research Trainee at The University of Sheffield. Amanpreet has also showcased his leadership skills by serving as an Intro Ambassador, International Student Ambassador, and Event Manager at The University of Sheffield and BIO CLUB, Kasturba Gandhi degree College for women.
