Amber Gipson

Project Manager, COVID-19 Trials at Rush University Medical Center

Amber Gipson is a seasoned public health practitioner specializing in chronic disease epidemiology and community health education. Her expertise encompasses project management, quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and evaluation. Currently, she oversees COVID-19 clinical trials at Rush University within the department of Infectious Diseases.

Amber holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Sociomedical Sciences and Epidemiology, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She also achieved Summa Cum Laude honors for her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and Psychology from the University of Hartford.

Throughout her career, Amber has held various roles including Project Manager for COVID-19 Trials at Rush University Medical Center. Previously, she served as the BOLD Research and Program Coordinator at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and Teaching Assistant for the Summer Public Health Scholars Program at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She also gained experience as a Research Assistant at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Administrative Assistant at The New York Stem Cell Foundation, Genetics Teaching Assistant at the University of Hartford, and Researcher at the University of Hartford.
