American Pakistan Foundation

APF is committed to empowerment of the Pakistani American community and building bridges between the US and Pakistan.

The American Pakistan Foundation (APF) is a non-partisan and non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering the Pakistani American community and fostering connections between the United States and Pakistan.

APF runs various programs and initiatives such as the APF Fellows Program, which focuses on creating sustainable professional, economic, and cultural ties between the U.S. and Pakistan.

The APF United Nations Initiative facilitates collaborations between Pakistani civil society organizations and the United Nations, engaging U.S.-based students and community groups in UN dialogues related to Pakistan.

Recognizing outstanding women in the community, the APF Rising Stars program acknowledges significant contributions made by women across diverse fields, aiming to showcase their impactful work.

With a sizable population of over 600,000 Pakistani Americans in the U.S., APF emphasizes the potential for meaningful change within both the community and the nation. Their Get Out The Vote (GOTV 2024) campaign leverages online tools, social media, events, partnerships, and research to promote voter engagement.

The APF Leadership Council comprises Pakistani American professionals, students, and allies who actively support the organization's mission to empower the community and strengthen U.S.-Pakistan relations.

Through the APF Connect mentorship program, the next generation of leaders is provided with opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals.

Henry C. Alphin Jr. serves as the Director of Operations, leading the executive team at APF.
