Amie Kashon is an experienced nonprofit leader with a diverse background in advocacy, coalition management, and international policy. She has held several key positions at the Pacific Council on International Policy, including Chief Development Officer and Chief Initiatives Officer.34
During her tenure at the Pacific Council, which lasted nearly a decade, Kashon made significant contributions to the organization's growth and impact.1 She was responsible for overseeing the organization's philanthropic giving programs as Chief Development Officer.2 As Chief Initiatives Officer, she created the organization's impact program portfolio and launched several important initiatives.1

More recently, Kashon has focused her efforts on advocacy for Afghan allies. She worked at Human Rights First, where she oversaw advocacy efforts and managed an information center assisting Afghan allies with relocation and resettlement.15
Currently, Kashon is associated with The Chamberlain Network, where she continues to apply her expertise in nonprofit leadership and international policy.4
Highlights
I've spent the last three years of my work laser focused on Afghanistan, so it's a big change to share that I've wrapped up my time at Human Rights First as of the end of June! This project has profoundly shaped me (professionally and personally) -- I'm immensely proud of the work of the Evacuate Our Allies Operations Center and our Coalition, and so grateful to the generosity of so many in this space for their leadership, kindness, and support. Thank you, thank you!
While it's certainly been an emotional transition, I am thrilled to share that I get to keep working with one of those aforementioned generous leaders Christopher Purdy as we launch The Chamberlain Network! We'll be working directly with veterans to protect democracy through organizing, education, and community engagement -- this work feels particularly timely, and I can't wait to share more in the coming weeks.

The SIV program is a key lifeline for Afghans to continue to relocate to the U.S. -- it has broad bipartisan support, and is fundamental to protecting the Afghans who stood beside us for 20 years. Without swift action, we will see an SIV application backlog that exceeds the number of remaining visas.
