Highlights
I had a great time at the #GartnerMarketingSymposium in Denver with Kyle McDougal, CUDE Ellen Richardson and Kathy Smith last week! I learned so many valuable insights I can share with my team, and was thoroughly inspired by the 8 pearls of wisom Carla Harris shared on how to be an impactful, influential leader. If you have never heard this woman speak, you need to find a way to make it happen! I had chills so many times throughout the session and even got choked up at the end when she reminded us that everything about being a leader comes down to having courage. As someone with a non-traditional education and career path, my entire professional experience has been built on being courageous and using my voice to advocate for myself and others. I felt seen and am empowered to do more and be more! Shout out to Demetrius Mckelvie for being an excellent host. Oh, and the resort with the infinity pool, lazy river, massive water slide, fire pits, and the cutest bunnies running around everywhere didn’t suck either. 😊😇
We had a great time at the #WomenLeadNC conference yesterday! Not only did I get to spend the day with my amazing team of powerful female marketers, I got to catch up with friends at #WalkWest. ❤️ Erin Afarian (Johnson) Amy Tharrington Aolani Donegan Natalie Heath
