Highlights
The path to leadership is not a straight line, no matter who's trying to convince you of otherwise. Leadership is also not a metric for Success. What it could mean for others is irrelevant to your experiences and that's the real internal work. It sure helps to find peers that share a perspective.
Initiating nuanced conversations with established leaders and their paths to meaningful success felt great.
And in case you didn't know, this girl likes to keep the conversation going and will ask apropos questions ✌🏻
BCCR Emerging Leaders Conference 2023
Recapping a lively evening spent with a room full of Leaders connecting with Emerging Leaders!
Gleaned wisdom from women powerhouses in their respective industries, who were kind enough to connect at a deeper level and quickly identify how they could step in to assist the person across the table, helping them break through their barriers. Grateful for the energy, the wit, and a masterclass on how to cut through corporate noise!
I was also tapped on the shoulder by Building Builders #Mentee, Casey von Hahn, CEO of Stratos Construction Ltd, which was an absolute delight. Being told that his #mentorship match was a phenomenal success story for him made all the blood, sweat and tears I've put into this Program, very much worth it.
Everyone needs Mentorship - whether the CEO of a company, or an apprentice working onsite!
Thank you BCCR for the opportunity to connect with change-makers and by default, supporting mentorship across the board 👏🏻
