Dr. Amishi P. Jha, a renowned neuroscientist and researcher, is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami with expertise in brain attention mechanisms and mindfulness practices.

Her research focuses on utilizing functional MRI, EEG, and neurobehavioral measures to delve into the benefits of mental training on brain fitness and overall well-being.

Dedicated to studying mindfulness training's impact in various domains such as education, mental health, aging, and military applications, Dr. Jha has received grants from prestigious institutions like the NIH and the Department of Defense.

Recognized as a pioneer in cognitive neuroscience, she has garnered acclaim for her work on attention and mindfulness, earning accolades for her teaching and science innovation, and being selected as a Poptech Science and Public Leadership Fellow in 2010.

An international speaker, Dr. Jha shares insights on attention optimization, brain fitness improvement, mindfulness practices, and stress management techniques, having spoken at esteemed venues like the World Economic Forum, Aspen Institute, and academic conferences, in addition to media features on NPR, CBS, and in prominent publications.

With a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Davis, a Post-Doc in Neuroimaging from Duke University, and a B.S. in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan, Dr. Amishi Jha's academic journey is rich and diverse.

Previously a Professor at the University of Miami and an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, her impactful research and commitment to enhancing cognitive well-being continue to inspire and influence a wide range of professionals and organizations.
