Amitai Fraiman is a seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in advocacy, content development, and experiential education within non-profit organizations. His passion lies in creating lasting relationships and communities based on Jewish ideas and values, with a particular focus on bridge-building and fostering interdenominational and interreligious relationships. Amitai possesses strong skills in leadership, communication, and networking, coupled with fluency in both Hebrew and English. Amitai's education background includes a Gap year educational program in Jewish/Judaic Studies at Yeshivat Ma'ale Gilboa, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, another Master's Degree in Hebrew and Judaic Studies from New York University's Graduate School of Arts and Science, and training as a Rabbi in Jewish Law/Judaic Studies at YCT Rabbinical School. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government, Diplomacy & Strategy as an Argov Fellow, with Cum Laude honors from IDC Herzliya.
Throughout his career, Amitai has held various roles in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as the Director of the Z3 Project at Oshman Family JCC. Previously, he founded שָׁזוּר/Interwoven and worked as a Jewish Content Advisor at LAVAN. His professional journey includes positions such as Consulting Associate in the MPA Capstone Project at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service (The Arthur Project), Director of Partnerships and Community Outreach at Friends of the Israel Scouts, Religious Garin Group Leader at Friends of the Israel Scouts, and Rabbinic Intern at the Bronfman Center of NYU - Hillel of New York University.
Furthermore, Amitai has experience as a Group Leader at Taglit-Birthright Israel, Social Media Coordinator at Herzliya Conference, Teaching Assistant at IDC Herzliya, English Teacher at I-learn, Tour Guide at Jerusalem Midnight Biking, and has served as a Staff Sergeant and Tank Commander in the IDF Armored Corps.
