Africa Regional Director at Reach For Change

Amma Lartey is a prominent figure in the realm of social entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on children's rights. Currently leading the Reach for Change Africa team and Country Offices, she spearheads initiatives that invest in social entrepreneurs dedicated to fostering lasting social change for children in Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Rwanda, Chad, DRC, and Ethiopia. Through partnerships with notable entities like Millicom and Modern Times Group, Amma helps drive impactful transformations across the continent.

Beyond her role at Reach for Change, Amma Lartey is also the director of Market Express, an online grocery supermarket based in Accra. This innovative platform enables busy individuals to conveniently shop for groceries from their homes or offices, with the added convenience of doorstep delivery.

Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Ghana and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College's F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Amma's educational background aligns well with her diverse interests in social entrepreneurship, emerging markets, marketing strategy, and entrepreneurship.

Throughout her career, Amma has held various key positions, such as Africa Regional Director at Reach For Change, Co-Founder and Executive Director at One Hen, Inc., Director at Market Express in Ghana, and roles at esteemed organizations like DFS Group Ltd. She has also been actively involved in academia, serving as a Babson Fellow and Research Associate at the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship while sharing her expertise as a Babson Fellow at The Center for Women's Leadership at Babson College.
