3️⃣ Questions All Leaders Should Be Asking Themselves:

I’ve been thinking a lot about the ways growth mindset can make us better professionals and people.

1️⃣ As a manager, do I regularly show team members and direct reports that I believe in their capacity to grow? Am I comfortable admitting that I don’t know the answer and can support my teammates in figuring something out? Do I solicit their feedback to aid in my own growth?

2️⃣ As a mother, how do I respond to setbacks? How do I show my daughter that I believe I can grow? How do I show her that I try to tackle challenges on my own and am also not afraid to ask for help?

3️⃣ As a human, what are my hobbies? Are they things I already have experience in or do I try new things? When I’m frustrated, do I give up? How frequently do I use the phrase, “I’m not good at x” as if my aptitude is fixed?

💡 How do you reflect on your growth? How do you make time to invest in yourself? In the spirit of continuous learning, I’d love your ideas!

🙏🏻 And big gratitude to Amanda Kruger Hill, Ed.D. for investing in my growth over the past 6-plus years through your example, confidence, and guidance.
