Senior Coordinator, Player Development at Major League Soccer

Amy Woff is the Manager of Player Development at Major League Soccer (MLS). She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2017 as a Morehead-Cain Scholar, where she majored in peace, war, and defense with minors in history and medical anthropology.1

After graduation, Amy interned at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center in New Orleans, working on criminal justice and civil rights issues. She then pivoted to a career in sports, joining MLS in 2018 as a competition coordinator in New York City.1

Since joining MLS, Amy has received three job promotions within five years. In her current role, she focuses on talent identification and player development for collegiate and professional soccer.1

Amy has a background in playing soccer throughout her life, which she describes as a "defining factor" in her character and approach to life. She views her work at MLS as a way to stay connected to the sport she loves while facing new challenges and opportunities for growth.1
