Ana Qarri

Ana Qarri is a legal professional with a diverse background in law, policy, and technology. She is currently serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada.3 Prior to this, Ana was selected as an auxiliaire juridique (law clerk) for the Honorable Justice Rowe at the Supreme Court of Canada for the 2024-2025 term.1

Ana completed her legal education at McGill University, where she obtained her Juris Doctor (JD) and Bachelor of Civil Laws (BCL) degrees.5 During her time at McGill, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Ignacio Cofone, focusing on privacy and AI law.1

Before attending law school, Ana gained experience in public policy, working at the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario and the Legislative Assembly.1 She has a strong interest in the regulation of emerging technologies and has contributed to research on privacy and AI law.12

After graduating, Ana worked as a policy analyst at the TMU Leadership Lab and co-authored reports on competition law reform.1 She has also clerked for judges at the Court of Appeal for Ontario.15

Ana is actively involved in the legal community, participating in events such as the Recipient Award Ceremony for Bill 7 scholarships.4 She continues to share her experiences and insights with others in the legal field.5
