Had an insightful event and dinner with Deputy President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), Armand Hartono.
Something he said really stuck with me. He talked about leadership and emphasized how important it is to invest in our junior employees, not just for the work they do today but for what they’ll contribute in the future.
As young entrepreneurs, we often focus on growth and innovation, but let’s not forget the people behind it all. Our junior employees are going to be the backbone of the company one day. If we don’t nurture their potential now, we’re missing out on huge opportunities down the line.
The takeaway was quite simple — “The stronger the support you give them now, the stronger they’ll be for you later.”
It’s a great reminder to build them up, give them the tools they need, and show them the value of embracing technology. They’ll be the ones pushing your company forward in the years to come.
Interestingly he is also a Taurus, I guess that's why the message resonated a lot. Also the fact that BCA invested a lot in developing multiple AI model to capitalize on their big data.
So, while we’re all hustling and chasing the next big thing, let’s not forget that we have to help our teams to grow with us.
After all, they’re our future.
This is our next office.
Apparently with Unreal Engine, you can make it REAL. And we are currently eyeing on ways to make this in VR too.
