With a background deeply rooted in activism, Andrea has played a pivotal role in securing significant victories for workers in unstable low-wage service sectors such as janitorial and hospitality staff.

Drawing from these successes, Andrea has been instrumental in developing groundbreaking approaches that utilize technology and online platforms to empower and amplify the voices of workers.

Andrea pursued a Bachelor's degree in History from Brown University, showcasing a commitment to understanding the historical context and significance of labor movements and social justice.

Her notable roles include serving as the Executive Director of United for Respect, Co-Founder of WorkIt, and holding leadership positions at SEIU, UFCW, and SEIU United Service Workers West, demonstrating a wealth of experience in labor advocacy and worker empowerment.

Prior to these positions, Andrea also contributed as an Organizer at Unite HERE Local 226, reflecting her hands-on involvement in grassroots organizing efforts.
