I know I'm not super active here, but I'm thrilled to announce the pre-launch of Chixa! About three years ago, I embarked on a mission to create a healthier, ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage. I was tired of seeing low-calorie products with “natural flavors” and poor-quality alcohol dominating the market. Even tequila isn’t pure anymore— a lot of mainstream brands have additives. So, I decided to bring something better. Inspired by a family recipe rooted in an ancient drink enjoyed by indigenous tribes in Latin America before the conquistadors arrived, Chixa is made from pineapple rinds, unrefined sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Known as Tepache in Mexico and Chicha de Piña in other Latin American countries, it’s clean, simple, and delicious. For those hesitant to change jobs, I would advice to always go for the opportunity you see fit for your long-term career goals. It is completely normal to change jobs even if you were at a job for a short period of time. For a long time, I have been wanting an opportunity where I could apply more of my technical skills; at the same time, I also wanted a role where I could apply what I learned from my Master's in Business Analytics #MSBA.
