CEO & Co-Founder at Lekka Burger. Chair & Co-Founder of Lalela.org.

Andrea Kerzner, a South African native now based in New York City, is an accomplished individual with a diverse background in psychology, business, and humanitarian work.

Armed with a Master's Degree in Psychology from Columbia University and an MBA from London Business School, Andrea has channeled her expertise and experiences into leading impactful projects.

In 2006, Andrea founded Lalela, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing arts education for at-risk youth in South Africa, Northern Uganda, and Zimbabwe, fostering creativity and entrepreneurship.

After a decade of successful operations with Lalela, Andrea pivoted towards addressing climate change, leveraging her background in the hospitality industry, including her involvement with Kerzner International, to start a chain of vegan restaurants called Lekka Burger.

Driven by her personal experience of managing a chronic illness through a plant-based diet, Andrea's Lekka Burger aims to offer a healthier and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fast-food burgers.

The name 'Lekka Burger' pays homage to Andrea's South African roots, with 'lekka' being a term for delicious and awesome in South African slang.
