Highlights
I place a decent amount of print for clients. These days one of the things that is near the top of everyone I deal withs agenda is Sustainability.
My clients tend to want a ‘planet friendly’ solution – without compromising on quality. Now, I’m not an expert on sustainable print, by any means – but luckily, I don’t have to be – because “I know a man who is”. Steve Davis, at SD Solutions.
With years of experience in the print trade, he’s garnered a wealth of industry knowledge – Steve has become my ‘go to’ to discuss anything about print. In recent years Steve has had a strong focus on sustainability, and how you can mitigate the impact of what you print on the planet – by choosing a sustainable stock, either recycled or FSC accredited. But there’s a lot more to it than that – including working with like-minded suppliers, providing a full end-to-end solution.
To show their commitment to the environment – SD Print Solutions have introduced a brilliant initiative – partnering with JUST ONE TREE to plant trees to offset the environmental impact of print. I won’t go into details, as you can read all about it on their blog, here: https://lnkd.in/dHvJweh4 If you need to discuss anything print-related, particularly relating to sustainable print – give Steve a shout.

I was introduced in an online meeting the other day as "Mr Brand" – my mind immediately went in two different directions – "Not related to Russell!" was my first response – and my second was what would that look like as a Mr Man book – maybe something like this? Apologies to the wonderful Roger Hargreaves…
It got me thinking – if you wanted someone to introduce you – as "Mr" or "Little Miss" (or whatever your preferred title would be) what would that be? And what would you want it to be? And what would your "Mr Man" character look like? Why? An interesting thought experiment…
