EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR WOUND CARE NURSES
As part of our Disruptive Technology Innovation Fund project, our collaborators at University of Galway are recruiting research nurses with experience in wound care (links in comments below). These roles will support clinical validation activities that will look to dramatically improve the delivery of evidence-based, individualised treatments to Venous Leg Ulcer (VLU) patients. These wounds have a profound impact on the lives of millions of people worldwide. The work conducted on this project will help to redefine standards of care, providing a meaningful advancement to the field of wound care.
If you, or anyone you know, might be interested in helping redefine standards of wound care, please drop me a message and I’ll be happy to tell you more about our project and how you could make a significant impact! We couldn’t have hoped for a better start to FeelTect’s latest clinical study with Home Wound Care! Yesterday marked the completion of our first recruited patient, who entered our study with a venous leg ulcer that hadn’t healed in over 8 months. After 8 weeks treatment with Tight Alright monitored compression therapy, the wound has completely healed! I’m not sure how common it is for the study team to receive flowers from a study participant but it definitely reflects our own appreciation for the work the team at Home Wound Care is doing. This gratitude is also what drives our ambition – to develop technology that delivers profound positive impacts for patients 😊. #woundcare #compressiontherapy #tightalright #connectedhealth
