Highlights
Had an amazing time at #AgInMotion last week in beautiful Saskatoon and I came back absolutely pumped!
After spending a few days talking with different agricultural brands, here were my top takeaways:
Highly engaged attendees It was great seeing the different test drives and demos from Tractors to larger sprayers, drones, rock pickers and everything in between. Most attendees were farmers and showed a high level of engagement with technology at the event. During the product demos, farmers were engaged, asking the exhibitors questions about efficiency and sustainability.
RBC creating a seamless customer experience A big shoutout to Jill Vavra-Gorkoff from RBC. They created a seamless customer experience directing attendees who filled out their forms to the RBC website. Completely bridging the gap between physical and digital.
BRP Can-Am off-road optionality A big shoutout to Craig Fortune from BRP. Lots of options for consumers to engage with their impressive lineup from the Defender to the Maverick. With multiple touch-points to capture qualified leads for dealers using tablets in kiosks and in the hands of staff.
I was impressed to see how brands used Limelight to simplify data collection, especially for the demographic attending.
A hunger for better tech in agriculture One common theme I heard in my conversations was the need for better data control, without alienating attendees (tire kickers vs real prospects).
Attending Ag in Motion highlighted the critical role that Limelight Platform could play in enhancing data capture, improving customer interactions, dealer insights (quantity vs quality), lead distribution (speed to lead), and increasing sales for the agricultural vertical.
