Andrew Chang

Community Liaison at Manhattan Borough President's Office

Andrew Chang, a Jacksonville, Florida native, holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Chinese from Georgia Tech and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida, focusing on Public Affairs.

Andrew is fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese and is dedicated to addressing local issues, community engagement, and human rights causes.

Currently, Andrew serves as a Community Liaison for Manhattan Community Boards 1 and 2 under Borough President Gale A. Brewer, tackling quality of life, policy, land use, and AAPI community concerns in Lower Manhattan.

He has a rich history of involvement with organizations such as OCA-NY, CAPAL, and the DC Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs, advocating for the rights and interests of the AAPI community.

Andrew's educational background includes studies at Stanton College Preparatory High, the University of Florida for his Master's degree, and Georgia Tech for his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
