Highlights
Heartening read in today’s journal about the decline in car ownership amongst GenZ. This could be the generation who can rehabilitate America away from a society designed around the automobile and car dependency.
There’s a long way to go of course, the Journal’s article starts by saying “Driving a car, long a symbol of true independence.” Not only is this is a questionable definition of independence (perhaps financial albatross is a better term) but this independence is only true if your society gives you little or no alternative.
