Highlights
Making moves! It’s my first day as the head of Edelman Amsterdam, and I couldn't be more energized about the opportunity to lead this exceptionally talented team.
Earlier this year, I had the privilege of living in the Netherlands while covering for the wonderful Felicitas Olschewski during her maternity leave. I got the chance to meet the staff, and learn about the fantastic client work taking place in this market; all that immediately left me impressed and inspired by the Edelman NL crew and culture.
So, when Arent Jan (AJ) Hesselink approached me about taking this role, I didn't hesitate to respond with a resounding YES.
There is so much innovation and opportunity here in the Netherlands. I’m excited to take the reins and continue building upon this office's already stellar capabilities and culture, with a particular focus on growing our creative, digital and integrated marketing business.
Thanks to Steven Heywood for his leadership over the past five years and making me feel so welcome here already, as well as for the path forward. Big shoes to fill and I’m ready for the challenge.
First order of business: Dutch courses 🇳🇱!

It’s even used by half the Fortune 500! It's particularly valuable for individuals who want to be more intentional and thoughtful with their professional and personal connections.
Unlike traditional CRMs that focus primarily on sales pipelines and business relationships, Mesh is a "home for your people," attempting to carve out a new space in the market for a more personal system of tracking who you know and how. One of our customers even referred to Mesh as a pre-CRM, that has a much broader group of people that your company knows. Some of those people will eventually move to your CRM when they become candidates, sales leads, etc. Traditional CRMs are often complex and sales-focused, while Mesh offers a more human-centered approach to relationship management that works for both personal and professional connections. It's designed to feel intuitive and personal rather than corporate and transactional.
Mesh takes privacy seriously. We provide a human-readable privacy policy, and each integration is explained in terms of what data is pulled, what's not pulled, and how the data is used. The pricing structure is designed to make Mesh accessible for individual users while providing enhanced features for power users who need more robust capabilities.
