Highlights
Amazing efforts for a brilliant cause from Tim and his team mates.
It was a pleasure to join the Paris Peace Forum on Saturday to discuss “What contributions can companies make to COP15 on biodiversity?”. It was a fascinating discussion on the importance of working with the information we have, while pushing for more transparency and disclosure, rather than waiting for perfect data or common standards to assess performance.
Equally fascinating was the forum itself. It’s the first time I have been, and seeing the breadth of organisations the Forum brought together was eye opening. There were civil society groups focusing on a huge spectrum of issues, from niche to global, coming together under an umbrella of cooperation. Too easy to miss that energy and commitment from a desk in London. The scene below was repeated throughout the building.
