Highlights
Wow. What a night to celebrate the 10 year Adunversaries of three of our incredibly committed, loyal and talented team members, Sophie Blythe, Chandni Sanghani and Laura Anton, MBA (who sadly couldn't join us on the evening), as well as my inspiring board mentor Angus Davison and Board Chair Stephen Dawson. If only our treasured Ghanaian partner Orgiis Ghana Julius Awaregya could have been there too.
Words can't describe how grateful me and my co-founder Nick Salter are for the way you have all stuck with us through the highs and lows of this (now 12 year) journey with Aduna Superfoods. It's the collective passion and commitment that has allowed us to be successful in our mission to #makebaobabfamous, starting with a sourcing pilot with just three communities in Northern Ghana, and a single listing Revital Limited. Twelve years later we are sourcing from more than 3000 rural women in Ghana, Burkina Faso and Senegal, at our peak processing more than 1000 tonnes of baobab.
It's the real-life tangible impact created with these communities that has been the secret source that has kept us all going when, at times, it seemed like all might be lost. And it is this continued belief, positive energy and innovation, super-charged by our more recent members of the tribe Jennifer Lambert, Rhian Calamita, Paul Hoskins and🌎 Olga Nazarkova, which has led to our current exciting - and we believe sustainable - growth and impact.
Big Love to all of you and thank you for being the superstars and great human beings that you are.
Super excited to have been invited to speak again at my favorite annual food industry event, Bread & Jam (more details on the panel in due course).
In case you've never been before, Bread & Jam is the brain child of the awesome Jason Gibb, and brings together all the best people for talks, networking, pitching to buyers and investors, and general good vibes. Genuinely the place to be to meet good people and make good things happen.
If you wanna join this year, please feel free to use my promo code for a discounted ticket (20% off) - SPEAKERPAL.
Hope to see you there!
