There is a lot of focus on the NDIS at the moment, which makes sense given the scale of the program. It is easy to forget that the NDIS program changes lives, one way is through the provision of housing for people who would otherwise be condemned to live in group homes, aged care facilities or where ever a bed can be found. Proud father alert, Angus Isles, builds houses for NDIS participants. From the ground up, Angus is building purpose built homes for qualified NDIS participants that exceed the required standard in terms of build quality, are functional, aesthetically pleasing, beautifully landscaped. Capstone Development Group has recently purchased a terrific block in Mudgee, two new homes soon to be built. The economics of NDIS housing are clearly explained by Angus in the attached Capstone Newsletter; could not be a prouder father.

DataCleansing. I mentioned in an earlier post that the Krunchbox team have been very busy, and now receive data weekly, from at least 200 retailers from around the globe. A number of people then asked me for the list! I do acknowledge it can be a little hard to find on the www.Krunchbox.com web site but it's there, and to make it even easier I attach a copy to this post.
The list makes for interesting reading.
All the usual suspects are listed ( Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, Costco, Bunnings, BigW etc ) but so are a host of retailers that are not well known out of their immediate geography, retail niche. Retailers such as Tractor Supply, Meijer, Canadian Tire, Total Tools, TJ Morris are enormous in both scale, reach, revenue.
Each of these retailers has built, over time, an eco-system of suppliers that supply them goods, and, thanks to Krunchbox, these suppliers are in turn able to receive, and make sense of the data that the retailer supplies to them. Imagine a retailer with a few hundred stores, and, say, a hundred products ( in colours, sizes, packs etc etc ). That is a lot of data, some times tens of millions of lines from a single retailer, every week.
Krunchbox enables Retailer & Supplier to truly partner in how the supply chain is managed. Inventory is supplied to the stores that need it, and not to the stores that don't, whilst the supplier, because of improved visibility is better able to manage their own supply chain, focusing on products that are in demand, and not those that just sit in the warehouse ( staring...).
The team at krunchbox weave a kind of magic that benefits hundreds of retailers, thousands of suppliers, millions of consumers.
As some one said to me the other day, Krunchbox are 'awesome'!
