Highlights
Time for a change.
After an enjoyable fifteen years in students' unions, including four years of self-employment, I've decided it's time for something new.
I'm moving into the data space, specifically data engineering and data impact, and I'm asking for your help.
What's new? I'm looking for roles in the broad area of finance, tech, and startups within the Edinburgh area.
I'm currently rapidly upskilling in areas such as SQL/Python, machine learning, Docker, cloud computing, and more. I'm also enrolled in the Future is Fintech course at the University of Edinburgh, learning about Scotland's place at the forefront of financial innovation.
What will stay the same? I'm still keen to work for organisations that have a positive social impact, strong values, and a great working culture - these have been some of the best parts of my time in students' unions.
I'm a strategic thinker, have extensive management & delivery experience, have run my own business, and am a skilled communicator. If you know of any roles in the Edinburgh area that needs that blend of interpersonal skills alongside a solid level of technical knowledge, shoot me a message!
Please consider sharing this post, I'd be really grateful. Thanks in advance for any connections, advice, or opportunities you can offer. #OpenToWork #data #dataengineering #datascience #fintech
