Andrew Kennedy

Clerk at Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service

Andrew Kennedy started his professional journey in manufacturing and fast-food roles before transitioning to a rewarding career in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Artillery Soldier in 2008. Following a departure from the Forces in 2014 due to medical reasons, Andrew discovered his aptitude for administration while working alongside Regimental Clerks. He then brought his newfound passion to the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service as a Clerk in 2014, where he excelled in providing front counter services, managing inquiries, processing Criminal Record Checks, handling property duties, and supporting the Municipal IT Department with software and hardware maintenance. Presently, Andrew is on a one-year secondment with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, serving as an IT Analyst/Technician within the IT Department. In pursuit of advancing his skills, Andrew pursued a Coding 4 Veterans Certificate Program at Durham College.
