Highlights
Thrilled to announce my new adventure with DoorDash! 🧁 Today I'm joining the merchant product team, on a mission to improve restaurant menus across multiple dimensions. 📊 Excited to empower local businesses and make transacting more seamless for consumers. #nextplay #productmanagement #datainformed
I woke up this morning to two emails.
One was an alert that one of my team's 0 -> 1 products had unusually high usage levels (+75% WoW!), a sign that we're truly hitting our stride with product-market fit. Another was a message from Gem that I'd been impacted by a 40% RIF due to the macroeconomic conditions impacting the tech sector.
How do I reconcile this? Well, I leave Gem incredibly proud of what our team has built. I'm also hopeful that the company can live on past these challenging times so that hiring teams benefit for many years to come.
What's next? Not sure! If you're looking for an principal level PM to dig into people's challenges and work with others to create experiences that end-users love, please reach out! I'm knowledgeable about consumer-grade SaaS, e-commerce, building experiences using GenAI, search, data and always eager to learn more.
