💲 How much does it cost to migrate from #Drupal 7 to a newer version of Drupal?

#Drupalistas, Competimates, and friends, once again I ask you for help.

Of course as a Drupal Migration Partner, we know how to estimate this accurately but it generally requires a conversatioh. There are several answers out there on the web as well. One that I found from Drupal Partners gives a range of $11,100 to $556,000!!! While accurate, probably not very helpful.

We have created a draft version of the estimator anyone can use without talking to a sales person (follow the link at the bottom of this page https://lnkd.in/gRRdCrZN) but I'd like to get your opinion;

  • should we include things like front and back end dev?
  • PM and QA?
  • How about custom code migration or clean up?

What would make this calculator helpful and useful for D7 users out there?

My dear Drupalistas, my friends, my competimates, Where does one find a comprehensive list of Drupal features? Looking at closed-source CMSes , especially the ones that focus on a specific vertical, they to an amazing job with the marketing of their benefits and features.

Googling Drupal features first brings me to the Drupal Features module and then to the Acquia Drupal Features page. https://lnkd.in/dmS5-xXY

When doing a CMS compete, wouldn't it be great to have a publicly available polished list of features and benefits, that are NOT written specifically for the developer persona?

Do you have a secret stash of these? Am I missing the obvious somewhere?
