Highlights
Umuzi is becoming a home for amazing people to share their light with our community.
For a few years now Umuzi has been this amazing org that some kindred brilliant wanderers would find if they looked hard enough, nestled under a bush, burning brightly and beautifully. In 2024 Umuzi.org decided to show the world what we have been cooking and the results have been humbling.
More young people are choosing us as a place that they want to learn with. More employer partners are choosing us to invest in impactful initiatives. More governments are choosing to work with us to make a societal difference. And more brilliant people are choosing us to build their careers with.
Two such brilliant people are Nduduzo N. and Megan Joscelyne (Bybee).
Nduduzo has a rich history of global scale, working at Uber, and operational style, with the sneaker shack (Which we love). Nduduzo has come to effectively build better and deeper business development relationships and support our partner managers to explore more with our amazing partners. Nduduzo in the short time you have been here you have already shown me so much and taught me so much. I cant wait to learn and grow with you more.
What I love about Nduduzo is he is not a sales person he is an empathetic, vulnerable, hard-working, kind whole person who our partners connect with immediately, which I love.
We are not selling dreams at Umuzi we are building futures. Nduduzo exemplifies that
Megan is the other brilliant gifted, talented person joining our team. She brings with her a rich history of management consulting experience, anyone who has lasted more than 5 years in a top tier management consulting firm should be given a medal. She also brings the most energetic and good vibes to our corridors every day, if you have ever worked with someone who just lights up a room with good energy you know its an absolute pleasure to work with.
Megan is currently working in our innovation team at Umuzi. A new division where we have the pleasure of ideating and building ideas to support more equality in society through impactful initiatives, how cool is that.
Working with both these two amazing people have made me sharper and better and made our teams better. Their energy, light and value shines through and I love love coming to work with these cool, crazy people
Welcome to Umuzi Nduduzo and Megan I hope that you shine bright and enable your own potential while building a better future for the world.
Linkedin Colleagues: Looking for some guidance. We are looking to set up shop in Mauritius, company and bank account. Could you please share companies you have used to get this done and any school fees, snags or learnings you learnt along the way. Would be most helpful.
Many thanks and wishing you all the best Andrew
