Andrew Lom is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright's New York office, where he oversees the Global Private Wealth practice, specializing in advising high net worth families and institutional investors on governance and asset management.

With a background in engineering, Andrew assists clients in crafting financial products, particularly focusing on FinTech innovations.

Clients benefit from Andrew's expertise in a wide range of areas, including family office structuring, succession planning, fund formation, investments, private equity, debt transactions, securities trading, venture capital financing, blockchain, robo-advice, tokenization, smart contracts, and financial services regulations.

Andrew is actively involved in industry organizations like the American Bar Association's Family Office Subcommittee, the New York Alternative Investment Roundtable, and the Managed Funds Association's Outside Counsel Forum.

He also serves as an editor for the Financial Services: Regulation Tomorrow blog, offering insights on global financial regulatory issues and has received recognition for his innovative work in FinTech.

Before pursuing a legal career, Andrew gained experience as an analyst in emissions/carbon trading and in consumer protection enforcement.

In addition to his professional roles, Andrew volunteers with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Georgetown University Law Center, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Engineering from Brown University.
