I wanted to share this with you yesterday but it wasn’t ready yet.

I’ve been building The Classified Creator since May 2024.  It hasn’t been long.

It started off as a fun project for one creator.

And then it turned into something more.

Something that I never thought would get to this level.

I’m able to pull down every post from a creator off of LinkedIn.

I can take that and create their unique voice in a custom GPT.

I’ve found viral moments of theirs and can share learnings of what worked (and didn’t).

It’s been amazing to pull all this together for you and I’m just getting started.

One day, this is going to turn into a podcast.

Today is not that day.

But…

I want you to enjoy every week’s edition.

This morning I sent out the detailed John Barrows journey.

I breakdown some of the key findings in this video.

I wanted to send it yesterday to you but it just wasn’t ready yet.

Next week I’ll be breaking down Nicolas Cole 🚢👻.

He’s had a major influence in Pipeline Catalyst and I’m really looking forward to sharing his journey next.

Until then… enjoy the John Barrows breakdown.

Hit ‘Subscribe to Newsletter’ and send me a DM if you want to get a copy of John’s journey.

My team spent 10+ hours reviewing every LinkedIn post John Barrows has posted since Dec 1, 2016. Here’s the BIGGEST thing I learned from dissecting his journey:

Create a unique personality (that can’t be duplicated).

You can’t go back to 2004 and start like he did. You can't take his personality and copy it.

You just can’t be John Barrows.

But…

You can be YOU.

Defining who you are is THE most important thing to figure out for your journey.

By defining who YOU will be it:

  • gives you a unique point of view
  • differentiates your content (that will stand out)
  • allows you to attract (and build) your audience

With over 2,221 posts and 314,575 impressions over this span of time has led John to becoming the LinkedIn Top Voice that we all want to follow.

He’s got some viral banger moments that I was surprised by.

And it’s amazing to me that over the years we’re still seeing some of the same themes.

August 13, 2020 was one of those dates in his journey that really stood out…

It highlighted an issue that is still as relevant today as it was 4 years ago.

Hint: It’s about lack of personalization in email.  And now it’s higher volume of crap with AI's help.

Tomorrow, I’ll be releasing his story and it’s a good one.

Click ‘Subscribe to Newsletter’ to make sure you don’t miss out tomorrow at 6am Pacific.

Get ready for some fun!
