Back when I got scuba certified (1987), the instructor lamented, "All the good ones have been certified already." He might have been talking specifically to me, as I managed during our navigation class to go out to sea instead of back to shore. Later, in Cozumel, I almost ran into the Caribbean Princess's propeller as it was about to leave dock, missing the hotel's beach by a good 500 yards. Anyway...

The executive and leadership coaching market is the opposite. There are still tons of amazing professionals who are only starting to see the benefits that coach training and certification can bring. Whether you want to start an independent practice, be an internal coach, or use coaching to have more impact as a leader, coaching training can make a huge difference in your life and career.

There is still a LOT of room for coaches that come to the market with the credibility of substantive experience and demonstrated achievements.

Scuba diving can be fun, too, if you can figure out how to use a compass and read the sand lines.

This Friday the Center for Executive Coaching is holding a specialty certification to be a Change Leadership Coach. It is free to all of our members. You can join live to enjoy interactive discussion and exercises or review the recording and complete a bit of homework. This is part of our “summer series” and available to anyone in our certification programs. We have completed specialty certifications about time and productivity, changing culture, and strategic planning (all still available to you via recording). Future ones focus on perceptual shifts, power and influence, and communication impact. They are like mini seminars. No other coach training program comes close; these are bonus opportunities in addition to our extensive “regular” content and support. All you have to do is enroll. The catch: we take this content down at the end of the series so please enroll with us now. If you want to get into leadership and executive coaching, we hope this is the nudge you need to act.
