Highlights
Hello friends! I’m #OpenToWork. 🙋♂️ ⚙️ For almost 6 years, I’ve been a business automation consultant, specializing in Google Sheets and Google Apps Script development (if you’re unfamiliar with that, it’s what creates macros, add-ons, and a whooooole lot more). My secondary specialties have been Zapier and Airtable. I’ve worked with nearly 100 different clients to design, build, and implement solutions that streamline and automate their business processes. This has necessitated my working in multiple industries with diverse personality types across a variety of project scales wearing many different hats. Such is the business of a freelancer! :) It’s been so enjoyable to help make the work lives smoother for all these people! Indeed, a major perk of my niche is that these projects result in significant time-savings and the elimination of tedious tasks. Feel free to get a taste of that in my client feedback on Upwork: https://conl.in/uw
👨💻 I’d be happy in a role that requires expertise in Google Sheets/Apps Script or similar automation processes using tools like Zapier and Airtable. I am also open to a more traditional developer role, though I know my development experience is less traditional. Apps Script is javascript-based, I’ve built custom web app interfaces (HTML/CSS), and I have experience scripting access to third-party APIs and databases. That, plus my diverse experiences, quick learning, and overall technical aptitude make up for the less-traditional developer background. One major benefit of my experience is its traversal across the full stack of implementation: sales, design, code, QA, implement, train, customer support.
🌲 While I’ve loved being a freelancer for the past 5+ years, right now I would benefit from steadier income and the camaraderie that can come from working with a team. I’ll continue to freelance on the side, most importantly to support my evergreen clients, and I’ll still be taking on new projects while I look for jobs.
🧐 Because my freelancing can still bring in a decent income, I can fortunately be somewhat selective in terms of a potential position’s salary, location, etc. I absolutely love the independence and flexibility of freelancing, so I’ll be trying to preserve that as much as possible by finding roles that are remote-first or highly flexible/WFH/etc. Still, the right position in a non-remote setup will absolutely be considered.
Phew! 😅 If you’ve made it through all that and know of open positions that would benefit from my skillset, please let me know, and feel free to share this with relevant folks in your circles. #GoogleAppsScript #GoogleSheets #Zapier #Airtable
