Highlights
I’m excited to join Wavemaker and continue supporting founders in Southeast Asia to build lasting companies that positively impact our world.
Growing up in Silicon Valley, I’ve always been an optimist because I’ve seen firsthand how technology can improve people’s lives. I’ve been fortunate to learn from fantastic leaders at Google and Facebook and see what it takes to scale businesses to millions of customers and billions in revenue.
Why Wavemaker? I’ve had the opportunity to meet several hundred startups over the past few years, and the message I hear again and again from founders is how Wavemaker bet on them when nobody else would, and built a partnership based on curiosity and trust rather than a scripted playbook.
Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google, once said: “If you're offered a seat on a rocket ship, don't ask what seat! Just get on.” For the past decade, it’s been a privilege to have a front row seat to the blossoming startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
As I start my new journey, I’m truly looking forward to partnering with the next generation of founders to build great companies.

I'm excited to join the Risk team at Stripe!
I am so grateful for my 9+ years at Facebook where I was fortunate enough to be on the founding team in APAC, set up our Singapore office, and see the team grow from 10 people to 2000.
One of the favorite parts of my role was talking to small business owners. When I spoke with SMBs back in 2012, their biggest pain point was reaching new customers. And when I chat with those same business owners now, their biggest obstacle is accepting online payments from customers.
As an optimist, I know that change brings opportunity. Opportunity for each of us - and the world. While 2020 has decimated industries like travel and hospitality, it’s supercharged others such as food delivery and gaming. Businesses that were previously reluctant to sell online are forced to consider it now. And this shift has accelerated Stripe's mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
I'm excited to join #Stripe as we help businesses - large and small - grow and succeed online.
