Ange-Marie Alfaro

Ange-Marie Hancock Alfaro is a distinguished academic professional, currently serving as the Dean's Professor and Incoming Chair of the Political Science & International Relations Department at the University of Southern California. She holds a tenured position and also directs the USC Center for Feminist Research.

With a background in Political Science and Gender Studies, she is an accomplished author with multiple award-winning publications focusing on the theory of intersectionality. Ange-Marie is recognized for her expertise in race, gender, class, and sexual orientation issues, as well as public policy design and empirical analysis of their intersections.

She has previously held faculty positions at reputable institutions like Yale University, Pennsylvania State University, and the University of San Francisco. Ange-Marie also has experience working in corporate communications at the National Basketball Association.
